Certifications & Sustainability

Responsible by Design

Third-party certifications aren't paperwork — they're proof your buyers and customers can verify. Here's what EtrenerKnit holds, and what it means for your brand.

Our Certifications

Verified Standards

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Confirms our fabrics are tested for harmful substances and safe for direct skin contact — a standard many overseas retailers require before listing a product.

GOTS®

Global Organic Textile Standard certification for organic cotton lines, covering both environmental and social criteria across the supply chain.

GRS

Global Recycled Standard certification, verifying the recycled content and chain of custody for our sustainable yarn options.

BSCI

Business Social Compliance Initiative audit, covering fair labor practices and working conditions across our factory.

Why It Matters

Compliance Buyers Can Verify

Many retailers, marketplaces, and import authorities now require documented proof of textile safety and labor compliance before a product line can be listed or shipped. Working with a certified factory means your brand isn't left scrambling for paperwork after an order is already placed — certificates and test reports are available on request for every applicable order.

Sustainability Commitments

Reducing Our Footprint

  • Recycled and organic yarn options (GRS, GOTS) for brands building sustainability-led collections
  • Water and energy monitoring across dyeing and finishing processes
  • Reduced-waste cutting and pattern layout to minimize fabric offcuts
  • Recyclable and minimal packaging materials for shipped orders
Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Compliance

Can you provide certification documents for my order?
Yes. Test reports and certification documents relevant to your specific order (fiber content, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, or GRS) are available on request.
Do all your products carry every certification?
Certifications apply based on the fiber and product line — for example, GOTS applies to organic cotton styles and GRS applies to recycled-yarn styles. We'll confirm exactly which certifications apply to your specific order.
What is the difference between GOTS and GRS?
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certifies organic fiber content and processing. GRS certifies recycled fiber content and chain of custody — a garment can carry either, both, or neither depending on the materials used.
Is BSCI a product certification or a factory audit?
BSCI is a factory-level social compliance audit covering labor practices and working conditions, rather than a certification applied to individual products.
